Well the USPS says the package was delivered today, so I figure I might as well post this. It's redwood burl. This pen kit posed a problem for me when I got it. I turn between centers and the brass tube was larger than my dead center. So I had to make a wood dead center that was held in my drill chuck. It worked out though. Since this was the Holiday Pith I also included an ornament I made. The ornament is made from honey locust and eastern red cedar. If we have a Holiday Pith again, I think this would be a fun idea; a pen and an ornament. Thanks for looking.

The pen looks great, but the ornament really stands out. That's some nice work. Great fix on the live center!

Thanks fellas, I'm not going to lie, I had more fun turning the ornament than I did turning the pen.
