This blank was made up of all the cutoff's from previous pens. Maxman talked me into trying a herring bone pattern. He did all the glue-up on the blank and I turned it this morning. Colors were random selection. Thanks Max

Thanks for the comments. it was a bit hard to turn because of the difference in hardness from one to another but not a big deal. Ultra sharp skew and slow easy cuts. As for what to call it, it was glues up in a herring bone pattern but the different colors really hides it well. LOL Guess it's whatever you want to call it.
 
You are very welcome, but all I did was glue it together, you did all of the hard stuff, like cutting up all those small left overs and turning that monster. But I am ready to do another one when you are. LOL :biggrin:
