I've grown up around cars and have turned wrenshes my whole life. Here's a few project I've been working on, instead of pens. I've been working on the 1st one about 6 months. It's a 79 Jeep CJ-7. I've replaced the entire fuel system, brake system, and rebuilt the motor. Me and my brother have did the body work on it. There is no bondo in it. The second vehicle is my brothers. It's a 91 dodge caravan. It has full air ride suspension. Custom tailgate. And it also has a 3.3 turbo under the hood. He's a lowrider kinda guy. Also the interior is fully customized. He's won quite a few trophy's over the last year with it. It will soon be painted. It's sitting on 22's.

Hey Ken, he drove that thing down to Pigeon Forge a few weeks ago for some Mini-Truckin car show. He actually took 2nd in the van category. The show was called Laid Out On The Lawn. That thing actually sits on the frame with the air out of the suspension:eek:

Here's some new pics of the jeep. Painted the shell last night. Going to attempt to paint the hood, fenders, tailgate, and window frame today, but it's brutally hot here. 99 degrees:eek: Also it has 6 coats of base coat clear coat on it.

Tell Margie she's got dibs on the first ride. Although not sure I would want to drive it down. This thing is a rough ride, and i could probably only go 55. So it would take 3 to 4 hours to drive, compared to a normal 2 hours.

What's it got for a power plant-----360--?

Margie said we could drive up to your place so she could take you up on the offer---now I am feeling like a cabby.
Ouch---guess who just got hit.

Nah, It's got a straight 6 in it. But I got a 360 in the garage. Spare motor either for the Jeep or the big Dodge truck I drove to your house. Kinda like wood, you can never have to many engines laying around:)

That's looking good Ernie! I may have to bug you about how to raise the front end of the El Camino.:) Is that A.J. Foyt in that picture?

Good eye Chuck. That was his farewell tour at Indy. Think 92 or 93. I have about 30 or 40 autographed pic of him as well as tons of others. Kind of a family tradition to live at the track the month of May.

I like both rides, but I am a fanatic about rap music, so naturally i like the lowrider most. I am more of an old school deep south lowrider type dude. Old school Caddy sittin on 84's, inside peanut butter, outside Jelly, 17 switches, whitewalls, and nuclear amounts of bass in the trunk!

I saw a minivan at a DB drag event that was so intense, they wouldn't let anyone sit in it when it was turned up to competition levels.
