Our top-a-thon is coming up when we sell tops for charity, I've got a bunch of cob tops on the floor by the table saw, I've got some bits of odd dowel rod,................You get the picture!!!!:D

I drilled out the cob, glued in the dowel with CA, and saturated the cob with the thin CA. Hope it will be a hit!

YUP, corn can make you do strange things... especially if you have been sampling the squeezings... LOL
Great idea... will have to try that ... my daughter loves the tops I make her and I have a bunch of shorts that will make great spindles..
