Oak Burl Wastewood on Chrome Navigator

Made this blank the other day and have been dieing to turn it.I didnt have a kit that was good enough for it so made a special detour on the way home from work today.I stopped by Woodcraft and picked up a chrome Navigator kit.Here is the results.I done 9 coats of thin CA and 5 coats medium.Finish isnt perfect.I forgot to pick up some new micromesh as mine is wore out.BTW this is my first Roller ball pen.

Jon, You did a great job on that one. I have got to get mine up and running this weekend. I did make me some molds this evening. I hope my first one turns out as well as yours. Great pen. That one should be a keeper.

Looks like I need to look for more "Burls". If you run out of the Oak let me know.

Nice combination. The black resin pick up the dark streaks in the burl.
