newbies 1st truestone

Reading the penturning forum has greatly shortened the learning curve for me with this hobby (obsession?). I am constantly amazed at the number of forum members willing to share tips, information, as well as products with anyone that asks. This is my first attempt with a truestone product. Picked the Persian Turquoise because it is relatively soft & thought the Black Ti Wall Street II was a good match. Any suggestions / comments will help with the next effort.

Well, gee. I've been turning pens for a couple years now and haven't been brave enough to try Tru-stone. Nice job, on yours.

I haven't really been a fan of the black finish on kits but I really like the way it emphasizes the dark lines in the turquoise on this one. Nice marriage of blank & kit.
