I can come up with a whole list of folks to blame for this pen from Anthony to Nolan---gold nib and Iron Bark Burl. I bought 6 Gold Nibs from Anthony---one of which is now mine---also bought a whole Iron Bark Burl from Nolan----killer wood.
The kit is a Jr Statesman----finish is just a very light coat of homebrew.
I am going to work on learning how to be friends with this pen.

I have more than one homemade brew---This one is my light mix---leaves a shine but has very little build up. You just bend yourself some good oils and a touch of BLO and a dash of MS with ---just a touch of Bullseye.

Heck until Nolan came along I had never even heard of it. I was on a waiting list for the boat to arrive. And sure enough there was a BIG burl of Iron Bark---which is now pen blanks.

Gary,
The selection of blank and kit goes great together and the Iron bark burl is truly
outstanding. Is the photo an illusion or is it overturned at the nib? It looks like the hardware is proud of the lower barrel.
