Does anyone here stabilize pen blanks?, I have about 20 wood blanks that are quite special "bug stained spalted curly soft maple burl". The staining from the bugs, along with advanced spalting in the curly burl is something to be seen. Blanks are currently around 1 1/8sq x 6 1/4, dry and sanitized (bugs and spalting fungus killed).
I want to get them stabilized before I machine them. If you could stabilize for me or you know of where I could send these in to be stabilized, please respond to this post. I need to get a ball park estimate, so if you could please post a price it would be very helpful
