Very nicely done Kevin! The only thing I see (with my hyper-critical glasses on) is that, to me, and from the picture it looks like the bottom part of the cap may be a BIT proud of the centerband/dectorative piece. Looks like the same is true of the main barrel, down near the end. Not sure if this is intentional (some people do it because they expect the wood to wear away with use) or not (may have swollen after you got done turning it). Either way, it looks great!

Nice form withthis pen. I really like the slight curve of the main body. withthe cap on it looses some of the appeal but I also don't see anouther shape that would work for the cap. given the choices I would have gone the way you have.

Daniel, the body is definately the main focus. What I tried to do with the cap was make it follow the curve of the clip. Came out close but not exact.

Jim, You are right, although I think it's the effect of fresh bushings. It is proud only a few thousanths but I think the pic amplifies that.
