I was wondering if anybody used some sort of maker's mark for their pens? It's been suggested to me, and I've kicked around a few ideas but I didn't know if there is some sort of go-to mark that is unknown to me. Thanks :)

I got a pen from a pen swap in Australia and the maker engraved a "WI" under the clip for his store name. You can barely see it.

Search "coining a tassie"

I did see that in the past, but am looking for something less...obvious? I don't want it to embellish the finished pen so much as just be a way for people to verify it is a pen I made.

I was thinking of maybe an extra fine sharpie on an inner removable hardware section that has some clearcoat over it? Or busting out the dremel with an etching bit? The idea of engraving beneath the clip is an interesting one.

I was able to find a pic of the pen. You can just make it out under the clip.
