I tried a couple of these and they blew up on the lathe. Guess I need to stop turning sooner and do a lot more sanding. Any tips? I would like to do one successfully. : )

Hey Martin, dont know what to tell you. I cut with LIGHT cut and did most with a skew.... It is soft to work with but it did fine with me..Hope that helps...
