Roy got a kick out of this.
I had the RPM's up to high on the DP and burnt the inside of the blank. I worked with sand paper trying to remove the burnt material but I could not get all of it without killing the blank. What I missed added the extra color to the reverse paint job.
Some days you just go with what you got and hope for the best.

that is a really nice pen Gary! I think it turned out awesome. The burnt part that stayed knew what it was doing! You should burn blanks more often!:biggrin:

It's called "Being lazy", remember it take a whole minute to change the speed on a drill press.
