I got several of these blanks from Sheila at POC. They are nice,
Pink ivory doesn't have spectacular graining but it turns like butter and has a very unique color.

Nice job, Jim! That's a fine looking pen. That is a very nice piece of Pink Ivory. I like the shape you put on the lower barrel.

Very nice, I am wondering how it would look in Black chrome though. might help set off the pink.
I'm with sam, Pink Ivory has something going for it with me as well in it's plainness. It is a pretty wood just because of it's color. I got several Red Heart blanks from POC a while back. they are all so nice I am holding on to them for my personal collecton of pens.

Daniel, I think black would look great. I also did a european pink ivory with the satin pearl and its white color is very good with the ivory. I also got a bunch of red heart from Sheila and it is also a joy to turn. It is similar to pink ivory but more red of course. pink ivory has shades of pink like no other wood.
