Well a wooden one anyway. About 20 years or so ago my Dad built some Clydesdale horses just for the heck of it I guess. Ever since then I have wanted to build one of my own. Although it will be half the size of the ones he did. I finally got the plans reduced to 50% and have started cutting pieces out.

These are the ones he made.

Good Luck. I once had the pattern for Reindeer in that sort of style. No idea what happened to it. I like the 3 dimensional carved effect. Keep us updated, looks like a project that will take a while.

It would take a while IF I made all eight but I am going to make just one. I really have no place to put one much less eight of them. He used 2x and I am using 1x. I am going to TRY and make the horse a little more rounded across the back but we will see how it goes. I will add photos as I progress.
