This is my first completed peppermill. The wood is tambootie and the peppermill is eight inches tall. I really enjoy these. Last year everyone got pens for gifts, this year I'm seeing peppermills in their future.

This was actually the second peppermill I started but the first one sits unfinished. Several people commented that the shape of the first was a bit phalic:D so it sits half done in the workshop.

Comments welcome and thanks for looking.

Nice Brad, I've kinda gotten into pepper mills myself... in my area the market for the pens is a little slow, so I'm trying other things... Pepper mills are lots of fun. I make 3 different styles.. the standards like yours, and two different types of crush/grind.. one is a shaftless crush/grind that takes 3 pieces to work.. so far I've been successful with one.. I like the crush/grind styles because they are a little more forgiving on size than the standards are.

Tambootie is a nice wood.. I like what you did.
