Ever Have One of those Days?

Yesterday I got home to find my order from Woodturningz. I had ordered several blanks; pink ivory, bethleham olive and so on. I had three of the pink ivory explode on me and the colors are so different, you can't mix and match. I had two olive wood explode and a blask ash burl to boot! Thought maybe my chisels were too dull because my passes were all small. Got out the slow grinder I just bought three weeks ago from Woodcraft and guess what? The damn motor blew up; smoke everywhere and circuit breakers popped.
They say when it rains it pours and I had my share of rain yesterday. Kind of makes me feel I should be working on a different hobby.

I sure hope so. In fact I just got off the phone with woodcraft. They are going to take it back and replace it even though I no longer have the box or receipt. So far things are looking better. I also showed the other two pink ivory slimlines I made and they were sold within five minutes.
