Just thought I'd show pics of
some delrin molds for pr casting I
made at my work place;solid modeled the
base in Unigraphics and 3d milled on cnc,
to create the cone.This makes a drill start
impression on center.The "tubes" come off to demold.
I started out using the ice tube trays from walmart,
but needed a longer cast for artist sketch pencil.
After making mold for it,I did several varieties.
Different sizes are to customize diameters and
lengths for different kits.
They work well,but would be expensive to make for resale.

Oftentimes the best ideas are the simplest. Yes, Delrin is one of the 'silckeriest' materials there is. I used to make items from it an sold Delrin (here and elsewhere), I never found anything that would stick to it. That's a thumbs-up idea.
