I asked Kathy over at KNB Polymers to make me a special polymer clay blank with purple roses and metallic silver flowers around it to match my Sorority colors. She hit a home run as far as I am concerned. I just love her work and so do my Sorority sisters who are soooo jonesing for this pen!

It is hard to get the glitter of the silver metallic into the PIC but I think I caught some on one of the PIX.

Thanks a million Kath!! Great job!

You have to be real careful on these because it is real easy to sand through the cane slices. I use only 600 grit Abranet to sand these tubes. before they go to CA. This one has about 2 dozen coats of thin on it with MM-12000 and Meguiar's ScratchX and PlastX plus Ren wax.

She recommends skewing down the outer edges to the bushings. On this one I just sanded a bit more and left them a tiny bit proud. Didn't want to risk removal of the flower edges and I don't like diving to the bushings at the very end. The difference against the embossed pattern in the ring is negligible.
