Coast Guard razor

Here is a razor I'm working on for my son for Christmas. All self cast. Unfortunately, the red turned out too transparent, even after painting the inside of the blank. Now I need to work on a good solid color red.

Monty,
Testors Chevy engine red is the closest model paint I have found to match the racing stripe and body of the HH-65 dolphin helo's. You may want to try using that to paint the inside of the blank. You may want to add a water slide decal with his Rating or collar devices. If you need clipart let me know, I may have some.

Very nice looking! I have thought of doing that type of segmenting in the past, just have not had the time to do any. You have inspired me.
