Cigar Pen

Well after a 3 week battle with a virus that really knocked me for a loop, I was able to finally get back to the shop tonight and turn a pen. It's a Cigar pen made from a purple celluloid blank that came from CSUSA. Thanks for looking!

Wow, that is a nice pen, I really like the celluloid. I need to try turning some. How do you put that nice finish on it?

Thanks Jake, I wet sand using Micro Mesh from 1500 to 12000 grit. Then use a polish made by Hut to finish it.

Thanks everyone, purple's not really one of my favorite colors, but the first pen I ever sold was purple so I keep a few on hand now. []
