This is one that I made while trying to get my jig working properly. I finally beat the jig with a 4x4 and did the cutting freehand on my bandsaw. The wood is Narra with maple inlays, The kit is a platinum Jr. Gent, and the finish is a whole lot of coats of CA.

Looks good. I can't believe that you can do that freehand on a bandsaw. I do mine on a table saw with an Incra Miter Express and still screw it up most of the time.

THAT , suckers nice ! Who needs a jig ? I can contract Neil to cut my inlays ! Nice work Neil . Great looking woods .

Thank you, it was actually easier for me to do it freehand than it was fiddling around with my jig. The jig is now firewood and this is the first of three that I di, I haven't turned the others yet..

Funny thing, I just found out that the jig was actually okay, it was a problem with the slot in my saw. It felt good to smash something anyways.
