Finished this one last night...finally.
This came from one of Constant's test blanks. My review of the blanks was posted here:

After finish turning this pen, I'll say the stabilized blank was nice to turn. It wasn't as hard as other commercially available blanks, and turned more like a nice piece of maple than acrylic. The dye streaks are still apparent with the blue/purple hues, but the dye and stabilizing penetrated the blank completely. The blank was still a pleasure to turn, sand, and finish, and I'd definitely consider purchasing these blanks given the selection of colors and figure available.
Although this blank only shows a small amount of fiddleback, the purpose was to review stabilization and dying, not high figure. Figured blanks are available from Constant's website at http://www.lazerlinez.com/Woods.asp if you are interested.
Thanks Constant, for giving me the opportunity to review your dyed & stabilized blank.
As always, comments are welcome.
