Bird's Eye Yellow Cedar Burl
This is some really cool looking wood a friend in Canada sent me recently. Smelled really musty but was a solid piece that turned great and takes a good CA finish.

WOW!!

Nice job Albert. [:D] I couldn't have done better myself. So do you like it? (Stupid question.) It's called Bird's Eye Yellow Cedar Burl and it's rare as hen's teeth.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks to all for the compliments. [:)]
This wood is a real dream to work even as a crosscut! As Rob mentioned this is very, very hard to come across.

You all like the yellow, wait until you see the Red! I don't have any blanks at moment in red but I will soon, maybe I'll share some of it. The red smells as good as it looks also.

From the Great White North eh
