Almost holds soup.

Well I thought I may have one that could hold soup but alas the holes in the burl go all the way through.

This is maple with a little burl in it. 5.75"x2" and walls about 3/16".
I did make some pens this weekend too just so I don't get kicked out of the clubhouse . I still have to assemble them though.

Just stick with Chunky Style soup. The bowl looks great!

Thanks guys. I think bowl turning is kind of a disease for me. I turned this while waiting for glue and finish to dry on pens. I made a "shop" bowl too [B)] the wood was really punky and it just chipped to pieces. I need to start selling these things though, they take a lot more room to store than pens.

Looks like all you have to do is tilt that bowl a bit and don't put so much soup in it! It sure is a pretty piece, tho!
