Added some pictures

Hi everyone,

I have added a couple more pics to my album.

One is the last of 4 pen & pencil sets that I made. Gave three sets to some very close friends and I am keeping the fourth to remind me of their friendship.

The other is a box elder pen made fron a slimline kit with a home made centerband and turned a bit thicker.

Very nice... what wood is the first set...
That box elder has some really nice flame to it... I am lucky that we have that stuff growing like weeds around here and the locals cut it for firewood... I already have the word out that anyone whose cuttings that show red need to call me immediately... have gotten some nice bowl stock that way... of course I always give a thank you bowl for the wood I receive..
You should see the look on their faces when they see that can be done with their firewood.. LOL

What a great compliment coming from someone who turns out gorgeous pens.
The first set is spalted beech that came from my brother-in-laws firewood pile, it is actually the drop offs from a set of bowls that I had turned.

BTW, the box elder was stabilized using the poly technique from the posting from Lee Biggers.
