Is this a portable that you can roll from room to room? If so, you will still need to provide outside ventilation via a window or other access. Otherwise you will be dumping the heat you just removed back into the room you are trying to cool. And the mfg. of said unit lists a specific length and diameter of tubing but usually included with the unit. Using the shortest length possible is the best as the vent tubing will give off heat. And if humidity is high in the room, you will need to manually empty the water reservoir often unless the unit has an automatic drain which you will need a floor drain to run it into. If it isn't drained, they usually have a sensor that will shut the unit down. These units are not really that economical, even compared to a window unit.
