Hi,

After doing a couple of Tri-Colour casts for the Birthday Bash I thought I should probably go backwards and do the cast I should of done first!!

Pretty happy wth how this one turned out. PR with a red Mica, back painted Matt Black. Mounted on a Black & Gold Ti Sierra!

Let me know what you think? PHIL

Reverse painting with the black was the thumbs-up way to go! Gave the red some depth.

I nearly always go for Black as my reverse colour, although it darkens blanks slightly it really seems to add a little more depth. Haven't tried silver yet though, think that's next one I think I'm going for.

Super job on the blank. I have a gallon waiting till it gets warmer to experiment with.
But what is that the pen is resting on??

Definately easier with warm-resin. Could try a tub of warm water to stand your resin in?
The stand is an end piece of a Maple Burr, had really tight small eyes, but was riddled with shakes and cracks!
