I just figured out how to scan these, and was looking for some opinions. Some of them are finished (or really sanded) some what poorly, but I've corrected this problem. Thanks for the input.

The pens look nice, and your scanner seems to have the proper depth of field...but you should try placing a white sheet of paper over the pen when scanning. Give it a try, and post the results.

Nice scans. You know you're looking at the pens in way greater detail than a customer ever would. There seems to be a straight horizontal line in all the scans. Must come from the scanning process. I've never noticed it before but then I've never looked at scans in this amount of detail before.

Interesting lines eventhough I prefer more traditionallook. I think that you need to get some sanding sealer, it will fill in the grain and make your pens much smoother and nicer to the touch.
