Here is a couple I did on the weekend.
The photos were all taken using my new camer. A Fuji HS10. I am very happy with it, but it will take me a while to get the settings down for good pics. I also need a new mini tripod. The one that came with my Lighting kit is way to small.

The first two show my first Closed end Sedona. Box Elder Burl in Black Titanium.

The next 3 are an Enviro Blank (recycled newsprint in soyabean products) in a 2 tone chrome cigar.

The last of the Enviro pics is a close up that really shows the finish.
Straight CA (no blo)
8 coats of thick CA
MM evey 3 coats
Final hut ultra gloss polish

Comments welcome

Depth of field

Great looking pens. You need to photograph them with your lens 'closed down' a bit, a higher aperture or f stop, a longer exposure. If you notice, a very small plane of your photos are in sharp focus. With more depth of field, your whole pen will come into focus.

Keep experimenting. Congrats on your new camera and keep up with the great looking pens.
