here we go!! turned my first pen in early December '08. My brother in law gave me a Jet 1014 4 or 5 years ago with 35 or 40 various pen kits and tools. It sat in my garage, unused, until December. Wood species is unknown. I think Wenga or Zebrawood. I got it from a friend who makes custom stair systems. It was in a box of scraps. I cut the board on the diagonal to expose as much grain as possible. Kit is a WoodCraft Euro in gold. Sanded to 1000 grit. Finish is Mylands friction polish. Also my first pen picture with my home made light box. Tell me what you think.:smile:
