I have been working on four boxes with three shipping tomorrow and one built and ready for finish. The craft fair called Mountain Fest is this weekend too. Just finished 10 sets of 4 multi wood coasters, cutting boards, keychains and of course pens.

I feel like that juggler with chainsaws. Whew!

Your box is beautiful. Can you tell me where you purchased the latch for keeping the box closed? I think that closer would work very well with the mini cabinet I'm trying to make right now.

Go to EBay. Search for stainless spring hasp. The exact hasps are shown with various prices; I pick the one for under three bucks with free shipping. Take a patience pill and wait a month for delivery. Best of luck.

Mark I notice you glue up a single cutting board at a time. Perfect if you are using scraps up. If you want to go for more efficient construction use longer stock. Glueing 6 foot long pieces to the maximum width of your planer, planing them smooth and finally cutting them to length, leaves you without any planer snipe except for the ends. Should you want cutting boards wider than the planer you do a right and a left side and then glue them together after planing with only having one joint to get aligned. You only show one at a time but when it sells you get its brother and put it out to sell.
