So was at a hardware store (Ace or Tru-Value, don't recall) and in the clearance bin area were some collapsible travel cup/mugs. Hmmm, all silicon except the support ring and handle on the outside. May be able to use it for left overs and drippings.

As is sits on the casting bench.

Collapsed.

And the money shot:

Works great for a buck or so.

Still have about an inch of fill to go. Then I'll TURN it into: hmm, a small vessel or a bottle stopper or a shaving brush or just practice until I turn it away to nothing. Though it is looking a little like some kind of parfait desert at the moment.

Cool idea! I pour the leftovers into a mold too, then make an "ugly" shaving brush, stopper, whatever. Surprisingly the ugly brushes were a hit when PIF'd at Badger & Blade shaving forum. Some are truly ugly, but some come out looking very cool.
