IAP Collection, Curator
Last September I took the IAP Collection on a roadtrip to Atlanta, Charlotte, Durham, Richmond and Washington DC.
While in Richmond, I had the fortune to visit with Bruce Robbins and Herb Welke at Bruce's house, and spent a few hours in his shop. The results of the shop time I'll post in a separate thread, as this thread is to highlight some of Bruce's artistry.
Bruce gave me as a gift two pens, which are stunning in the process/skills needed, but also apt due to my interest in shapes and design features.
I highly recommend anyone wishing to be inspired with advanced pen turning skills to do a search in Bruce's past threads - start at about the second last page, this is where the photos are visible.
And here are two links for the pens Bruce gifted me. (And while not technically in the IAP Collection, they will be displayed when the IAP Collection is displayed by me). Thank you Bruce.
