One inch tool rests

Rick,

I have a set of your 3/4" round tool rests which I love (3" and 6"). I recently upgraded my lathe to a Laguna 12/16 which as 1" posts instead of 3/4". Do you make 1" tool rest post that will fit the 3/4" rests, or do I need to buy a new post and two new rests to go with it? Thanks, and please feel free to message me to have the discussion.

Hey Jim,

Sure thing, I can make you some 1" posts that will fit your existing rests. I'll need the OVERALL height of the factory rest that came with your new lathe.

I had a bunch of older smaller posts (5/8) from my previous lathe I really liked and went to a 1" post lathe 4 or 5 years ago ( I saved them).....I made adapters myself but never really liked them. About 4 or 5 months ago I had Rick Herrell make me one of his adapters that fit into my banjo and I was back to using my old 5/8's friends again! It was SO worth it!!!!! His solution is great! Do it!!!!
