The rising Phoenix is a very nice pen-kit, so i made a pen out of it. The blank is from Elforyn Juma Golden Dragon , the knots made of yellow (golden) veneer and wenge.

I ended up with just a straight across cut because that brass was not playing nice. I don't have a disk or belt sander at home to knock down the corners of my blanks, so the overall vibration and heat knocked a few of the pieces loose at the beginning. Luckily they were at the end of the tube...
