I was showing a Gatsby to a potential customer and they opened it to see how it works. Problem is that they did not pull off the cap but unscrewed it along with the entire mechanism.

Has anyone made both the Mesa (offered by WoodturningZ) and the Gatsby (by Penn State). I've been making the Mesa, but was wondering if the Gatsby was a better made pen. It looks like the Gatsby runs about 1-2 dollars more.
