Here is a custom Woodchuck that Ken (bitshird) made for me. I made the handle with a piece of Zambezi Teak purchased from Keith (VisExp) and the custom ferrule was made by Albert Woodard from THO Game Calls. The Woodchuck is the SS version as is the ferrule. The handle is approx. 14" long. I have ordered metal game call bands from Tho Game Calls before and asked if they could make the ferrule. They were only too happy to oblige.

I'm sure you will enjoy using yours as much as I love mine. I really like the shape of the handle, it looks very comfortable to hold.

Beautiful! "It is better to look good than to feel good....and darling you look Mahvolous."
I'll bet it works as good as it looks.
Chris, it will skin a blank in no time. Very nice tool to own. Takes a bit of fiddling, but once you find the sweet spot, she is a go!! BTW, great looking woodchuck you have there!!

Thats one beautiful Woodchuck you have Alan. I won one in the last raffle here but havent gotten around to making my handle yet. It arrived last week and is beautiful. Im almost afraid to use it. lol Ken does awesome work! I really like the looks of yours and hope to spend some time in the near future setting mine up. Thanks for sharing!

Come on guys these things need to get dirty, and they need to be fed give them plenty of wood and acrylic throw in a garnish of Aluminum, copper, and some brass and you'll have a well fed happy woodchuck, they love gettin dirty:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Thanks for the comments guys. I used the tool just a little the day it was finished and it shreds the wood pretty quickly and does leave a nice clean surface. I can't wait to use it more when I find the time, lol.
