This is a pen made from meteorite dust. The dust comes from cutting the meteorites for classification, study, or display. I cast it in polyurethane. I think this is the first pen of its type. Correct me if I am wrong. This pen is truly "out of this world"

Branden, that is something special, looks really cool. The choice of the Tech pen was right on with the blank.

I got it from eBay. The seller has many meteorites. Collectors will sometimes cut a portion of a meteorite to send away for classification, display, or study. This is the dust generated from the cutting. It essentially looks like metal shavings because that is what it is. The Campo meteorite is of mostly iron and nickel composition. I painted the tube black and covered it in epoxy, then put it in a bag containing the dust.
