8mm Double Twist Ballpoint in Gold with Red Dyed Maple Burl. Finished with 6 coats of Minwax Poly and polished with Hut Ultra Gloss Plastic Polish rather than Brasso.
IMHO the Hut Polish dose not give as good a gloss as the Minwax alone or polishing with Brasso.

I`m not much for changing the color of wood but that looks good. That`s a fine job.
