PSI gunmetal euro kit. This is from the discussion on Scallop forms upstairs. I decided to give a herringbone design a try. I think the padauk/maple is too gaudy, but the design itself worked great.

I think it looks great Don , nice segmenting job , the color combination works well . the only thing I would think about adding is some very thin black veneer to separate the segments a little more .

I love the look as-is, it has a very craftsman feel to it. I think little black stripes would turn it more artsy.
Unless of course that's the look you're going for. :biggrin:

I didn't really have a "look" in mind. It was more of a proof of concept for myself.
