Beautiful pens as always Martin.

I suppose you brake your shells yourself. They seam rather regular, no big ones. Does that mean you sort sizes? How do you do that? I always wonder about raden pieces of mother-of -pearl. Do you cut them yourself? I wish I would know more about that.

I also use a coffee grinder to chop up my abalone shell pieces.


Would your share more about that ? Any pic of your shell grindings? What do you start from? I saw some paper mop in Australia, maybe. Any photo of your pieces using crushed abalone?
