I received 2 blanks from Constant. One natural and one dyed. I have not yet turned the dyed blank. When I do I will add pictures. The natural one is pictured below. Here are my thoughts.

  1. The blanks came very clean. No extra goo at all (this is different and IMO better than other stabilized blanks I have dealt with).
  2. The blanks cut very well. They were slightly over sized on one width, and being the fan I am of segmenting, I cut off the excess to use later.
  3. The stabilization process did not however keep the thin cut from warping on the natural piece seen in this picture. I don't know if stabilization should keep that from happening or not. I thought it was noteworthy though. Again, when I received the blanks they were totally square and smooth.

  4. The smell is strong. But not unlike other stabilized blanks I have used
  5. It drills like butter
  6. It turns wonderfully with streamers going everywhere
  7. It sands great and polishes up nicely.
  8. It takes a CA finish well.
  9. It's dust still has enough color to fill voids nicely without looking bad.
The big question is would I purchase this product? Yes, especially if it is competitive with other similar products.

Here is the natural pen.
