The jaws (PSI # PKVJAWS) work mostly as advertised giving my machinist vice the grooved jaws it was lacking. They just fall into place on the top of the smooth jaws that came with my HF vice. There is a thin magnetic strip in a recess under the part that rest on top of the vice jaws to help hold them in place. Here in lies the rub, the magnets are not strong enough to hold the accessory jaws in place against casual bumping as the material being drilled is inserted or removed without considerable caution.
Would I buy them again? yes
Could they be improved? Again yes by using 4 rare earth magnets under the lip instead of the thin flexible magnets used for signs and refrigerator magnets.
Are they worth the price? They have helped improve the accuracy of my blank drilling, so yes.
