Default Turn for the troops Saturday 11-12

Short notice, but if you are available Saturday and want to turn a couple pens for the troops, the event is taking place at WoodCraft in Milwaukee all day, starting about 9 am.

Dave Drickhamer is, as always prepping the pen blanks and WoodCraft provides all the pen kits, so all you need to do is show up and bring your turning talent!!

Hope to see some of you there!!

If anyone has pens they've already turned and want to donate them Woodcraft will replace your kits and I wave some blanks I can hand out to replace yours.

We could also use some help assisting customers turn as I can't be there much past noon due to my wife's health.

Thanks.

Gonna have to ask the boss if I can attend. Sounds like a great way to meet some other turners, as well as have some fun on someone else's dime.

She said yes, "sounds kinda cool". God I love that woman. Do I need to bring my lathe and chisels?

All you need to do now is convince her to come with you and turn some pens.

Planning on going to the Chattanooga, TN store. BTW, O'Charley's has a special on Saturday for veterans. You get a free $9.99 menu item. Check their website for specifics.

Bring a chisel if you like but everything will be provided.

Bring the boss along.
