Hi Greg,

The dates for the 2018 Turn for Troops are November 2nd and 3rd from 9 AM until ?

So far the Milwaukee Area Wood turners have well over 800 pens completed this year. Our goal is 1000.

Anyone turning pens ahead of time will have their pens replaced by me on those days.

The event will take place at

WOODCRAFT OF MILWAUKEE
14115 W. Greenfield Ave.
New Berlin, WI 53151

Hope to see lots of IAP members there.

New Berlin is a couple of hours drive for me but I am interested. What does this involve? Do you bring your own blanks and kits? How about finishing? Tools?

We'd be happy to have you join us.

Everything is provided. If you want you can bring your own tools and favorite finish but it's not necessary.

We will be turning slimlines. Blanks are already prepped.

All you need to bring is your willingness to turn pens and maybe help customers that have never turned before.

If you have any pens already turned I will replace them with kits. I also have some blanks you can help yourself to.

Hope to see you then.

Chattanooga store is doing TFT on Nov. 10th. Also having a scroll saw demo. Wife has been considering a SS. She can watch and make up her mind on this.

That could be a real win win for you. "We need more wood and more tools" No problem.
