Sorry folks, I just got scheduled for hernia surgery on December 17. So I need to cancel my offer for the 19th.

I am fine with December if everyone still wants to come; or you guys can try to meet at Hartville on the 19th.

Let me know what you think.

Sorry :frown:

12/12 works for me
be careful and don't over do it while you are waiting, and listen to your doc

It was the first surgical opening they had - Cleveland Clinic .

Was lifting with my back rather than my knees (15,l 60 lb boxes... ) just like I have done weekly for the past 26 years - Grocery canned goods. Surgeon said the position was not good to wait and see if it improves.

Oh well, such is life!

The 12th is good with me; maybe we'll play lumberjack and cut down some big trees and carry them on our backs!

Mark is this an upper or lower hernia??? Had lower one about 10 years ago. That was fun:eek::eek: Good luck and do not do any heavy lifting after that either. Now what does a bottle of beer weigh:)

:bananen_smilies046: Mark; Wishing you the best with your upcoming vacation !! Suggest you purchase a bell to keep next to your recliner. Calling your wife when you need something can be a strain on you if you have to call more than once. Bell requires little effort and can't be ignored like the human voice. On a serious note, take John's advice, no heavy lifting !!! A speedy recovery will be expected of you. Jim S
