Hey everyone! My brother has been after me to take up this hobby for a couple years, so I'm taking the plunge. I say I'm an ultranoob because my lathe is under the tree and the spousal unit says I can't open it until Christmas, so, technically, I'm in the hobby, but I haven't even gotten the shop set up yet. But really looking forward to it.

I've always enjoyed being in fora for the hobbies I get involved with (wooden model ship building, role playing games, wargaming, writing, etc.) so I thought I'd join up here and see what I could learn and get to know some others who are in the hobby. I live in Southeast Minnesota.
