Howdy All!

Just recently discovered the addiction, er, joy of penturning...

Have turned a bunch o' stuff over the last coupla years and finally jumped into this with both feet.

Picked up a virtual pant-load of kits from PSI, have turned +/- 30 pens in the past week, and now have decided to learn what it is I'm doing...

Thanks fer havin' me!

Welcome to IAP from Central Texas.

Nice looking pens for a "Rookie".

Ray

Back when I started turning bowls, I was advised to number them...
Kinda give me an idea of the learning curve...
I lost count in the 30's, but could still see a vast improvement over that span...

What you see here are roughly # 30-37...
My loving wife and extended family absconded with ALL of my early stuff.:)

Welcome from New Hampshire. Did you make those segmented blanks? I hope you know there is no cure for pen making.

Sorry mike, picked them up on feebay, collected blanks for a while with the understanding that I would eventually jump in...

Kinda like collecting brass years ago, knowing that one day I would reload.

As to your medical advice, I had been dabbling in woodworking for a few years before I received a lathe as a Christmas gift, 2 or 3 years ago...

Didn't want one, wasn't planning on getting one...

Now it's ALL I do.

Still have other projects, I just don't do them.

So yes, I AM addicted.

Another welcome from Wichita Falls. You should have put "Buttermilk Station" as your location. We have some interesting names for communities here in Texas.
Do a good turn daily!
