I'm Roly, retired from the Canberra Police in 2003 and have been enjoying the retirement since. Used to do a fair bit of turning of all types but now seem to be concentrating on the little stuff and so pens make the obvious choice for developing new skills and techniques. Batlow being the heartland of the apple industry in mainland Australia and being in the high country there is no great shortage of timber to experiment on and I hope to shortly be able to proudly display some of my work.
