Hello i'm Andrew Derhammer. I'm 14 and from Allentown, Pennsylvania. My dad had gotten me started turning over the summer and then I strayed from him and started to self learn by experiences on the lathe. On of my other hobbies that correlates w/ turning is rocketry(turning nose cones and such) So i'm hoping I can learn more skills through this forum to help better my artwork.

True since my dad started turning at my age too! And There's alot to learn from my grandfather in the way of carving and turning since he used to be a pattern maker for Bethelem steel.
